Maryland Association of Student Councils
The Maryland Association of Student Councils (MASC) is the state-level student council, made up of regional student councils, including WCASC. MASC holds three major conferences, Fall Leadership Conference, Legislative Session, and Convention. To come to these events, your school must be an MASC member school. For more information on MASC and how your advisor can register your school to be an MASC member school, please look on the MASC website: https://mdstudentcouncils.org/
WCASC is a part of Division 1—Washington, Garrett, and Allegany County. For more MASC information, reach out to the Division 1 Liaison, who works directly with MASC to ensure that Division 1 has all necessary and accurate information.

Become a MASC Member School
We encourage your advisors to sign up for MASC membership. If your school qualifies based on the number of students eligible for FARMS, membership fees can be decreased. Student council is a vital part of our schools and by registering for MASC membership, students will have increased opportunities and access to MASC events, some of which are limited only to member schools.
